industforge.com is an independently operated reference project for the NACE Rev. 2.1 statistical classification of economic activities. It is not affiliated with Eurostat, the European Commission or any national statistics office.

What this site is

industforge.com publishes a complete structured reference to NACE Rev. 2.1: all 1,047 codes (sections, divisions, groups and classes), each with the official English heading, scope notes (includes / also includes / excludes) and its correspondence to NACE Rev. 2. How the content is produced

Every code page is generated deterministically from Eurostat's official NACE Rev. 2.1 source data (structure, explanatory notes and the Rev. 2 – Rev. 2.1 correspondence table, both published by Eurostat). Pages are not written by hand one at a time; they are produced by a script from the source dataset, which keeps the entire reference internally consistent and makes it straightforward to correct at the source if an error is ever found.

Independence

The classification content on this site — a code's official heading, scope notes and Rev. 2 correspondence — is always identical to Eurostat's published source data, regardless of any commercial relationship. If this site links to third-party company-formation, business registration or accounting services, those links are covered separately on the affiliate disclosure page; such relationships never change how a code is classified or described.
